Agrochemistry – Applications in animal and plant production / medicinal plants

The Interdepartmental Postgraduate Program (MPMS) Agrochemistry – Applications in Animal and Plant Production / Medicinal Plants (MSc. In Agrochemistry- applications in plant and animal production / Pharmaceutical Plants) is carried out in collaboration with the Department of Chemistry of the University, of the University of Ioannina and the Department of Technological Agriculture of the University of Ioannina.

The purpose of the IPS is to provide postgraduate education in Agrochemistry and Organic crops, so that the graduates of the program gain strong scientific background, experience and know-how to adopt optimal solutions and applications in agricultural and livestock production, product quality and environmental protection.

The main objectives of the curriculum are:

Providing a high level of postgraduate studies
Providing knowledge on modern developments in agrochemistry and organic crops
Development of techniques and methodologies of environmentally friendly crops
Application of biological methodologies for the production of high quality plant and animal products, especially in terms of their burden with toxic and harmful substances.
Creating scientists with the necessary skills for a successful career in the private, public and academic sectors
Preparation for postgraduate studies at the doctoral level.
